Although worked with the crochet hook, Veronese Crochet Lace does not make intensive use of the traditional stitches like the single crochet stitch, the double crochet stitch, treble, double treble, etc.

The elements of the decorations are constructed with combinations of yarn overs and chain stitches. Therefore simple stitches with which one constructs other special stitches, that combine to make the elements which characterize an innovative and in some way, genial simplicity as well-defined the expert who worked on it, Amelia Brizzi Ramazzotti.
